Trusted sources form the factual backbone; broader sources help discover additional stories and context.
Hybrid discovery
Tier A and established Tier B sources are prioritized for factual support. Broader sources may surface a candidate, but sensitive or conflicting claims require stronger independent corroboration before automatic publication.
Attribution
Every published article stores the sources used by the newsroom and shows them on the public article page. NerddNews does not ask its AI desks to rewrite an article from one copied source; it asks them to write an original report from the assembled evidence packet.
Source controls
Feeds can be enabled, disabled, reweighted, rate-limited, or removed from the operator newsroom without changing application code.
